Book
My writing and research explore the intersection of global business, resilience, sustainability, and human well-being, with a particular interest in how individuals and organizations navigate uncertainty, adapt to disruption, and create more sustainable ways of working, leading, and connecting.
As a researcher and educator, I examine topics across international business and marketing, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, organizational resilience, global supply chains, and corporate social performance. Increasingly, this work considers the human side of global systems, including how leadership, relationships, mindfulness, and individual capacity influence the ways people and organizations respond to an increasingly complex global environment.
Beyond traditional academic research, I believe meaningful scholarship should extend beyond journals and classrooms. Research can help us better understand the world while also offering practical ways to navigate it. Through books, articles, research, and public-facing writing, I bring together academic scholarship, professional experience, and reflective practice to make complex ideas more accessible and relevant to everyday life and leadership.
That philosophy comes together in my first book, Centered on Resilience: A Guide for Protecting Energy in a Global World. The book connects insights from business, sustainability, mindfulness, and lived experience to explore resilience not simply as the ability to endure, but as the capacity to remain centered, connected, adaptable, and purposeful amid change.
Centered on Resilience: A Guide for Protecting Energy in a Global World
Releasing October 5, 2026
Centered on Resilience explores what it means to remain grounded, adaptable, and connected in a world that constantly demands our attention, energy, and capacity. Blending research, professional experience, mindfulness, and personal reflection, the book challenges the idea that resilience simply means enduring more. Instead, it presents resilience as the ability to recognize what sustains us, protect our energy, establish meaningful boundaries, adapt to change, and intentionally return to our center when life pulls us away from it.
Moving from the individual to relationships, organizations, communities, and the global systems around us, the book examines resilience through both a personal and professional lens. Topics include boundaries, burnout and recovery, global uncertainty, supply chains, cultural awareness, digital resilience, sustainability, leadership, human connection, and the integration of mind, body, and business.
